This target is great, I've just bought my second. I use it with #30 or #40 @ 28 Medieval longbows and recurve of similar draw weights, shooting from 10 and 15 yards. Using 7.8mm OD carbonarrows with 115 grain field points, I only get around 2inchs of arrow showing on the backside of the target. my old one has lasted me for about two years. It still stops the arrows but they are starting to reach about half way up the arrow.

I have a 22ib bow and bought this target so I could practice. The target is very weak so when I shot at the arrows went so far into the target that they were almost at the fletchings. This meant that the arrows could’ve been bent by the target stand (wooden). I had to use the stand because if I had shot at the target without an additional stand, then the target would have fallen over, damaging the arrows. If you would have used a 24ib bow, I have not doubt that the arrows would’ve gone straight throught the target and damaged whatever whas behind it. It is dangerous for decathlon to market this product as it could damage equipment and people. I bet that arrows also would’ve gone straight through the target after a week of shooting or more even if you used a 15ib bow. Dissapointing
