I bought 4 of these, and they certainly absorb the sweat. Best purchase I made and great for Kangoo Dance, high intensity exercise.
Does the job feels slightly big but I do have a small head!
Despite being thin, it does a fair job at keeping the sweat from running down my forehead. It does tend to saturate quite quickly, though it doesn't seem to affect it's ability to absorb. However, it can feel uncomfortably moist/cold after a while. Dries quite quickly too.
