I bought this while collecting an order from Decathlon as I wanted to check the wear of my chain (~1000km in). When I did use it (as the video instructed) on my 11 speed chain it indicated the wear was greater than 0.5%, almost 0.75%. I then got a bike shop to check with their park tool version and it showed barely 0.25%! Unfortunately I binned the receipt so can't get a refund - what a waste of £3.99

This item is unreliable it is not accurate and indicates chains are past .75 worn when in-fact the chain is not even past 0.5% As a result of this i have been wasting money replacing chains earlier than they need to be changed when they still have a lot of life left on them I have now purchased a Park Tools cc3.2 chain checker which is far more accurate and reliable
