Are you an intermediate surfer?

I can go surfing regularly. During your sports training, you can paddle, or dive under small waves if you are on a shortboard, then surf waves less than one meter long. You often fall and are used to being tossed around underwater. Your swimsuit must meet the demands of your activity and stay put on your body with every movement. We have designed a shape that suits regular practice and your body shape.

Body-hugging shape

With its very sporty look, the "Andrea" swimsuit top fully covers the chest and has a great print. The shoulders are uncovered, perfect for surfing and stand-up paddling. Although the back is completely open, the thin criss-cross straps provide good support for the swimsuit top during movement. The chest is well covered with medium support; the top is best suited for a smaller bust. It comes with removable padding.

This product stays put on the body in waves: The test

We design swimwear that stays put in the water. To test it, we use a group of surfers with different body shapes who follow a testing protocol in a swimming pool at our design offices in Hendaye, southwestern France. This protocol aims to rehabilitate the feeling surfers experience when waves gather around them. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing in the sea to test our swimwear in real conditions.

What are padded cups?

The padded cups in the swimsuit top make your bust look attractive and sculpt your breasts into a rounded shape without visible seams and avoid skin irritation, unlike cut foam sewn into the swimsuit. Olaian thinks of you and your comfort, preferring to use padded cups in most models. These padded cups are removable, allowing for an increase or decrease in breast size by half.

Dry size vs. Wet size

To ensure perfect stability on the body in the water, it is important to choose the right size while dry because once you enter the water, swimwear becomes more flexible. Therefore, we recommend that you buy the correct size. The swimsuit should fit snugly on the body when tried on in the changing room; you should feel that it supports your body. The elastane material used in some of the components in our swimwear softens and gives a relaxed feeling in the water.
