Inspired by the model in the adult range: the FAST 900 LOW-1. This children's version has a very similar style, while being designed to support the needs of a growing body: from the point of view of the sole geometry and the materials chosen. Kids will also love wearing shoes supporting their favourite NBA team.

Choosing your basketball shoes

When shopping for basketball shoes, you need to: 1- Determine your child's level and frequency of play 2- Can the child tie laces independently? 3- Pick the correct upper height: covered ankle or not?

What size to choose?

We recommend having them try on the shoes before their first practice, and choose your child's usual size for playing basketball. There should be about 1 cm between your toe and the end of the shoe because the foot will tend to swell slightly during exercise. Finally, make sure that your child wears basketball-specific socks that reduce friction in the areas that are most likely to get rubbed.

What type of terrain are these shoes for?

"All of them! Our shoes are tested and approved on different indoor surfaces, as well as different types of outdoor ground. We test both their grip on different levels of dirt (in the lab and in real conditions), as well as their lasting durability, particularly with abrasion from the ground."
