We designed a dobok that looks like a traditional taekwondo uniform: it has ribbed fabric, a white collar and the jacket has the classic kanjis on the back. For your practice? This uniform is cut especially for taekwondo, with long sleeves, a deep neck and good freedom of movement - especially at the legs - making it perfect for poomsae and fights.

Greater freedom of movement for the legs:

Taekwondo uses both the hands and the feet! For maximum freedom of movement, we created the bottoms with a higher crotch. This means the bottoms follow your every movement, even when doing splits!

About the fabric used for this dobok

Taekwondo is a striking-based martial art which uses hand strikes and kicks. You'll definitely work up a sweat when practising! For your uniform, we chose a woven fabric that meets traditional taekwondo needs. For improved comfort, light weight and robustness, the fabric is 65% cotton and 35% polyester. Plus, it dries faster!

...Our new taekwondo collection! To create uniforms that are suited to your sport, our 4-person design team worked for an entire year on the designs, patterns and prototypes. They then worked with our supplier and did tests with internal coworkers who are passionate about taekwondo. The result, according to our product manager Enrique? "A dobok you'll be proud to wear."

Enrique, Outshock product manager, discusses the design of our doboks:

"Martial arts have a lot of traditional aesthetic codes. For taekwondo, we drew from these codes to improve the uniform. It was a little like doing touch-ups. We have a community of taekwondo coaches and competitors in Spain: we asked them about their needs. It was a great collaborative effort. That's what's great with martial arts: people are all ready to share their passion."
