Description

The Perfly yellow dot squash ball is ideal for professional squash players.

Composition

Yellow dot squash ball made of natural rubber.

Technical specifications

Weight: 24 grams. Diameter: 40 mm

Bounce height

When dropped from 254 cm, the Perfly yellow dot ball should bounce - at least 38 cm at 23°C - between 76 cm and 89 cm at 45°C

Sold in a pack of 2 pairs.

You must warm up and play with the squash ball before playing.

As with any squash ball, you will need to play with it and warm it up to get the most out of it. This is easy to do: just stand near the T-shape and hit the ball against the wall several times. After many hits, you will feel the ball getting warmer. When it is properly warm, you can start playing on the rest of the court and enjoy a great game.

Squash ball and court temperature

Heat and cold significantly affect ball performance. When it's cold, balls will take longer to warm up and won't bounce as high, regardless of the ball type. Don't be surprised - just use a blue or red ball when it's very cold. On the other hand, the warmer it is, the more your ball will bounce. Counteract this effect by using a ball that doesn't bounce high, such as a yellow dot or double yellow dot ball.

How do you know when your squash ball is worn out?

New squash balls have a rough, matte appearance. Your ball will wear out at a different rate depending on your court, strings, and how you hit it. Once you see a lot of marks or scratches on the ball, or when it starts to look shiny, it's time to change it. You can still use it, but it will be very slippery. It will slide on the floor or walls and end up splitting. Replace it before that happens!
